MAY 4th: The Ides of (Imperial) March

$115.00

When: Saturday, May 4th from 5-8pm

Where: 1606 Fuller Ave SE (The Hot Spot)

Instructor: Abbey H.

Level: Beginner

Like jewelry that’s a little bit edgy? In this workshop, you’ll learn to take your favorite weapon and make a tiny version of it using silver and copper for a wearable piece of jewelry. This could be a pair of earrings or a pendant. This is a great way to pick up fundamental metalsmithing skills like hammering, sawing, soldering, and filing while also showing off your dangerous side…

Some fun examples could be anything from a throwing axe to a butchers knife. Hell, you could make yourself a tiny broadsword!

This is a great workshop for any beginner metalsmith as we’re covering very introductory skills.

**There will be a charcuterie board to make this day extra splendid. You’re welcome to BYOB but save wine consumption for AFTER any soldering!
